Pedro has been promised a key role in Manchester United’s starting XI as he prepares to complete his move to the club, according to reports.

United are on the cusp of sealing the arrival of the Barcelona winger, with official talks said to be underway.

And ahead of the 28-year-old signing on the bottom line, the Daily Telegraph says Pedro willbe a regular starter at Old Trafford alongside Memphis Depay and Wayne Rooney in an exciting front three.

United played with a 3-5-2 formation for large chunks of last season, while a 4-5-1 was also deployed, but Louis van Gaal is moving to a 4-3-3 formation this summer with attacking wingers having a key role.

This looks pretty exciting!

United are hopeful of signing up Pedro in time for the weekend’s clash with Tottenham, although that is looking more and more unlikely.
